Going Plastic Free, 2020

Since we took over the Tayroc brand back in March of 2020, there have been great improvements in many areas, from the product range to customer support, but we knew we wouldn’t feel good until we thought hard about Tayroc’s environmental impact. 

We are happy to announce we are now operating completely plastic free delivery on 99% of orders (a few countries still require customs documents in a little plastic sleeve, but we’re on the hunt for a paper alternative for those too!).

So far we’ve replaced regular plastic packing tape with reinforced paper tape, we’ve also packed-in plastic poly-mailers in favour of sustainably sourced boxes, even our packing slips are Forest Stewardship Council approved and EU Ecolabel certified - even before today, we were already well on the way to environmentally friendly delivery for the brand.

The final big piece of the puzzle for a plastic-free delivery has fallen into place: we’ve cut out the plastic bubble wrap in favour of a recycled paper alternative meaning you can really feel good about buying your next watch from us.
